WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BUILD THE NEST?

The primary fundraiser for Kenrose is called “Build the Nest” (BTN). Our school mascot is the Cardinal, so we like to think of the students as our cardinals and the school as their nest!

Several years ago, the Kenrose PTO voted to stop having students/families raise their donations by selling popcorn, wrapping paper, etc. and changed to a check writing campaign. Parents contribute the suggested dollar amount per child or what they can afford.

Historically, this has been a very successful program, so no additional fundraisers have been needed. Our fundraising goal has always been reached because of the generosity of our Kenrose community.

how does it work?

In the Fall, the Kenrose PTO will send information and reminders about BTN and how to donate.  Our goal is to have 100% of families participate/ respond.

How much should I donate?

Our suggested tax-deductible donation is $175 per child, however, we appreciate your support regardless of your donation level.

How is my donation spent?

The Kenrose Elementary PTO provides added services and items that enhance teacher supplies and student experience at our school. Please click here see the video to see just a few of the items Kenrose PTO has recently purchased to support our school.

Kenrose Elementary PTO is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This means there is a good chance your employer will match your donation made to Kenrose PTO. See a list of Corporate Matching Partners
